FEDS: MAN USED NET TO LURE ‘TEEN’

Steven Gold, a 52 year old Rockville Centre man, was charged in a New Jersey federal court yesterday with using the Internet to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14 year old girl who turned out to be a federal agent.  Gold, who is vice president and treasurer of Manhattan-based Loeb Partners Realty, was arrested Wednesday in Somerset, NJ, and charged with travel with intent to engage in a sexual act with a juvenile.  After a court appearance, he was released on $250,000 bail.   He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
