FEDS: MAN USED NET TO LURE ‘TEEN’
Steven Gold, a 52 year old Rockville Centre man, was charged in a New Jersey federal court yesterday with using the Internet to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14 year old girl who turned out to be a federal agent. Gold, who is vice president and treasurer of Manhattan-based Loeb Partners Realty, was arrested Wednesday in Somerset, NJ, and charged with travel with intent to engage in a sexual act with a juvenile. After a court appearance, he was released on $250,000 bail. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
