FOOTBALL PLAYERS HELD IN ‘GANG RAPE’

An 11 year old girl was raped by as many as 10 men, most of whom are football players at localcommunity colleges. Two men were arrested in connection with the rape Saturday night and officialssaid they identified eight others as persons of interest in the case. Most or all are students ateither Fresno City College or Reedley College. The girl, a runaway from a group home, had gone to aFresno apartment complex to visit an acquaintance. While she was inside one of the units, sheallegedly was sexually assaulted multiple times by several men.
