FRANCE HANDS OVER KID-PORN SUSPECTS

Regpay Co. Ltd. President Yahor Zalatarou, 26, and marketing director Alexei Buchnev, 27, two key figures in a Belarus company linked to processing fees for memberships to child-porn Web sites, have been extradited from France.  They were arraigned last week in US District Court in Newark after a French court rejected their bids to fight extradition.  They had been in custody in Paris since July 2003.  They are among 1,000 people arrested worldwide in the investigation, which led to a Florida company that eventually admitted laundering proceeds from the proceeds from the sales of memberships to Web sites containing child pornography.
