HOMELESS WOMAN CHARGED

Verna Session, a 40 year old homeless woman, was charged with kidnapping 2 year old Tyree Hand who disappeared while playing outside his home.  Tyree, of Philadelphia, was playing about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13 when he disappeared.  Witnesses reported seeing a woman who matched Session's description holding his hand.  On Monday, police here were called to the Greater Pittsburgh Hotel to investigate a report of a homeless woman and young child sleeping in the lobby.  A social services employee identified the boy from an Amber Alert.
