INTERNET PERV GETS 5 YEARS

Basil Doucette, a 39 year old Massachusetts man, has been sentenced to more than five years in federal prison for using the Internet to try to arrange a sexual encounter with a 13 year old girl.  He pleaded guilty in January to using the Internet to entice a minor into sex.  He was also sentenced to remain on supervised release for 15 years after he serves his prison term.  The girl was actually a New Britain Police Officer.
