PAPAL AUDIENCE FOR PERV-PRIEST VICTIMS
In a surprise move, Pope Benedict XVI yesterday privately met with people who were sexually molested as children by priests, some of whom wept at they spoke individually to him. Several Boston-area victims met the pope in the chapel of the Vatican embassy in Washington amid a US visit in which Benedict has repeatedly express shame for the clerical sex scandal.
