POLICE: LINDENHURST MAN ASKED TEENS TO MAKE PORNOGRAPHIC VIDEO

Andrew A. Quattrone, a 32 year old Lindenhurst man, is suspected of approaching twoteen girls outside a supermarket and asking them if they wanted to participate in the making of apornographic video. He showed a box of condoms to two 14 year olds about 3 pm on February 15 in theparking lot of a Massapequa Park King Kullen on Merrick Road, then asked if they wanted to be inan adult video, police said. He also showed them pornographic photos on his cellphone. Quattronewill be arraigned on two counts each of attempted use of a child in a sexual performance,endangering the welfare of a child and third degree criminal solicitation. Police said he had beenarrested in 2009 but not convicted on a charge of attempted use of a child in a sexual performance.He has convictions records dating back to 2004, including disorderly conduct, criminal possessionof a controlled substance, harassment, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal solicitation andacting in a manner to injure a child less than 17.
