‘RAPIST’ BEAT RAP BEFORE

Police are on a manhunt for a suspect in the vicious gunpoint rape of a 17 year old tourist in Brooklyn, a month after he was arrested for an almost identical attack but was cleared by a grand jury.  The victim, from Rhode Island, was in the city for the West Indian Parade yesterday, identified her attacker by picking his mug shot out of a photo lineup.  A month earlier, a 16 year old rape victim from Brooklyn also identified the suspect as her attacker.  Police would only identify the rape suspect as a 21 year old Brooklyn man who has ties to Maryland.  His mug shot has since been distributed to cops all over Brooklyn, including those working yesterday's parade.
