Richard Thomas, a 27 year old convicted rapist, collapsed after police told him may havecontracted HIV from the woman he assaulted. Thomas was sentenced last week to five years andfour months for raping the woman while she slept. He let himself into her home uninvited inthe middle of the night and she awoke to find him raping her from behind.
