SEX-RAP PRIESTS REMOVED

PFMLIT CLERGY, General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

The Archdiocese of Detroit announced yesterday it has removed the Rev. Michael Malaway, 49, and the Rev. Timothy Murray, 54, from public duty after investigating complaints that they sexually abused boys years ago.  The church refused to say where or when the incidents are alleged to have occurred.  The church put the priests on administrative leaves of absence pending the completion of the investigations, and they are not allowed to present themselves as priests or serve in churches.
