Christopher Prato, a 25 year old teacher at the private, 100 acre Harvey School in Katonah, aWestchester prep school, was arrested Thursday night when he arrived at a park for what he thoughtwould be a rendezvous with a 15 year old boy. The boy who he had been talking with on theInternet was actually an undercover agent. Prato has become the 41st man arrested in an Internetsting designed to thwart adults from seeking sex with minors. So far, 35 people have been convictedin the sting operation. He was arraigned on two counts of trying to send indecent material to aminor. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to eight years in prison.
