TEACHER SENTENCED IN SEX CASES (For sex with girl, 16, and child porn, man who taught in Garden City gets 6 months and 10 years on probation)

Dennis DeMille, a 29 year old North Massapequa man, was arrested October 25, 2007, afterpolice learned that he had an ongoing sexual relationship with a 16 year old girl. DeMille, of 443 N. Queens Avenue, faces four counts of criminal sexual act and one count each ofrape, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
DeMille has admitted to downloading child pornography. He was also arrested July 20,2007, by Suffolk County police for allegedly possessing child pornography depicting girls youngerthan 16 engaged in sexual acts.
DeMille, now 30, was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years' probation.
