Michael A. Annunziata, a 31 year old West Babylon firefighter, is accused of having sex witha 16 year old girl and is facing a charge of third degree rape.  Annunziata, of 10th Avenue inWest Babylon, is a New York City firefighter and a captain with the West Babylon Volunteer FireDepartment.  He pleaded not guilty in a July 3 court appearance.  He was released on$25,000 cash bail and a temporary order of protection was issued barring him from contact with thevictim.  Third degree rape is a Class E felony punishable by up to 4 years in prison.
