THREE MEN TRY TO KIDNAP TEEN, COPS SAY

Three men in a black Pontiac with tinted windows approached a 16 year old girl in the parking lot of the Broadway Mall in Hicksville and tried to pull her into the car before she freed herself Thursday night.  One of them spoke to her, then grabbed her by the jacket and tried to drag her through the window.  Once the girl freed herself, she ran back inside the mall.  She sustained a minor injury to her arm in the struggle.  The men left the scene.  Police are asking for the public's help in finding the men, described as between 18 and 21.  Detectives can be reached at 800-244-TIPS.
