On August 28, Barry James, 58, was stabbed in the chest nearly a dozen times by JonathonEdington, a 29 year old lawyer in Fairfield, Connecticut who climbed through James' bedroom windowand stabbed him to death after being told by a family member that the man had molested Edington's2-year-old daughter. Edington was charged with murder and burglary and was released on $1 millionbail on August 30.

It turns out that the toddler was never molested. We're confident this 2 year old was notmolested, said Capt. Gary MacNamara. We are...confident in our investigation that Mr. James didnot molest the Edingtons' daughter.
