US MARSHALS ARREST THREE SEX OFFENDERS IN THREE HOURS
Agents with the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested three wanted sex offendersin less than three hours Tuesday.
- Chad R. Renner, a 34 year old registered sex offender, has been living at 404 DianaPlace NW. He was jailed on a charge of being a habitual offender who failed to register hischange of address. Agents said he was wanted on his fourth violation of moving from one hometo another without notifying authorities. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation andCorrection lists him as being on parole after his March 2 release from prison. He had been inprison since his 2012 conviction on charges of failure to give notice of his change of address,receiving stolen property and forgery.
- Rickey J. Betz, 43, of 8783 Cleveland Avenue NW in Lake Township, was arrestedTuesday at the jail. Jail records said he had moved on or about March 1 without notifyingauthorities. He was charged with failure to register his address. He is listed as asexual predator who was convicted in 2008 of kidnapping, rape, gross sexual imposition and unlawfulsexual conduct with a minor. Stark County court records show Betz also went to prison in 2012for cocaine possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
- James P. Troyan, 56, of 1108 21st Street NW in Canton, was arrested Tuesday at thejail on a charge of failure to register his address. He'd moved on March 1 from his homewithout telling authorities. Troyan was convicted of importuning.
