VET COP IN UNDERAGE RAPE BUST

Officer Angel Negron, a 16 year veteran Manhattan cop from the 19th Precinct on the Upper East Side has been arrested for allegedly raping a female child relative beginning when she was 8 and ending in 2004 when she was 12. He is charged with four sex crimes, including the rape charge, that allegedly occurred in his Staten Island home and he was suspended without pay. Negron has been released on his own recognizance after a plea of not guilty.
