2 LONG ISLANDERS CHARGED IN GIRL’S RAPE

Two Long Island men, Keith Martin Jones, 22, of Copiague, and Raymond Amanosi Odidi Jr., 19, ofBrentwood, are among three sailors stationed in Washington state charged with raping a 14 year oldgirl over the July 4 holiday weekend. Jones and Odidi both serve aboard the nuclear aircraftcarrier USS Abraham Lincoln. They were arrested earlier this week and the third sailor, Leroy LamarHolt, 20 , of Folkston, Ga., was arrested on Wednesday afternoon. All three men are being held atSnohomish County jail. Odidi's bail was set at $50,000. Bail for Jones and Holt was set at $75,000.Police said the rape occurred on July 5 when three girls, two 14 and one 16, were invited to spendthe day with two sailors on leave from their ship. That evening, the girls accompanied the sailorsback to their motel for a swim and some drinks. The two sailors invited shipmates Jones, Odidi andHolt to join them. The three late arrivals became intoxicated and physically and sexually assaultedone of the 14 year olds. She fled to a friend's home for the night afterward. Her friend's parentsfound blood stains on their bathroom tiles the next morning. The victim was taken to a localhospital where she received a blood transfusion after suffering from a dramatic loss of blood.She was released Tuesday.
