ADVISORY: SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE TODAY ARRESTED A MAN AFTER HE EXPOSED HIMSELF TO A TEENAGER WHILE SHE WAS WALKING IN SELDEN

Arshad Syed Humzah was arrested today after he exposed himself to a teenager while she waswalking in Selden at Boyle Road and Strauss Avenue.  He was operating a 2010 Nissan northboundon Boyle Road when he approached a 15 year old female who was walking along the roadway atapproximately 5 p.m.  He asked the girl if she needed a ride, the girl said no and hecontinued to follow her in his car and then stopped again and asked her for directions.  Whenthe girl approached him, he exposed his genitals to her.  The girl remembered the licenseplate and went home and notified her parents who called the police.  Syed Humzah was chargedwith Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
