Two boys, 13 and 14 years old, are being held at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct for abducting a 12 year old Detroit girl at gunpoint and taking her to a vacant house where another boy, 12, raped her.  Police were still searching for the alleged rapist.  The other boys denied being involved.  They have been charged as juveniles and each are being held in lieu of $25,000 bond.  The girl told police she was walking to her grandmother’s house from

A 15 year old schoolboy, who cannot be named because he is three months short of his 16th birthday, abducted a six year old girl from a play park and tried to rape her.  He has been ordered by a High Court judge to be detained for seven years.  He admitted attacking the girl and

attempting to rape her on July 10th this year. The judge, the Lord Justice Clerk Lord Cullen, strongly recommended that the boy undertake a program for young sex offenders.

A 12 year old girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has pleaded guilty to five charges of indecently assaulting young boys in July.  The charges included three charges of indecent assault against three boys aged four, five and six.  She also admitted two counts of inciting a girl under 14 to commit acts of gross indecency.  The girl is the youngest girl in Britain to be put on the sex offenders’ register and has been placed under supervision for twelve months.

Samuel S. Aster, a 60 year old music teacher giving private piano lessons in his home was accused of molesting 7 girls ranging from 8-13 years of age.  He hung himself in his home on November 3rd, 1999.  When investigating his home detectives found some of these incidents on videotape.

Over the past two months, as many as eight girls have been sexually assaulted while walking to school.  Youngsters are being warned by police to travel in groups.  Two sisters were attacked by a man with a nightstick on Wednesday while walking to school.  He raped the 16-year-old and robbed her 15-year-old sister.  Another girl walking along was attacked on Monday.  Not all attacks have been rapes.  On Thursday, three girls reported that men tried to abduct them on their way to school.  These incidences were separate.  According to Newsday,
