HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a sexual assault investigation involving juveniles.
Detectives with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Dana Paul Rogers Jr., 35, of Hendersonville, with 9 charges stemming from a sexual assault investigation involving three juveniles.
He’s been charged with 3 counts of Second-Degree Forcible Sex Offense, 3 counts Statutory Sex Offense of a Child 15 Years of Age or Younger, and 3 counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child, deputies said.

The French parliament has adopted legislation that characterises sex with a child under the age of 15 as rape and punishable by up to 20 years in jail, bringing its penal code closer in line with many other western nations.

QUITMAN, Ga. (WALB) – A former Brooks County investigator is now behind bars, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).

The GBI said that on Monday, a grand jury indicted Will Cope, 44, for rape and two other sex crime charges.

Cope was an investigator with the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office at the time of the incident and his arrest, however, he has since resigned, the GBI reported.

Cope has been booked into the Brooks County Jail, according to the GBI.

EDMONTON (NEWS 1130) – A former pastor from small-town Alberta is accused of sex crimes against teens, and Mounties say there may be victims of more incidents across Western Canada.
Brad Dahr, 53, is accused of sexual interference, voyeurism, luring a child, possessing and distributing child pornography, and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
The charges stem from incidents from Jan. 1, 2018 to Oct. 31, 2010 reported to RCMP in the town of Vegreville in Alberta. All of the incidents involve teenaged girls

PHILIPPI, W.Va. – A Barbour County man, who is described as being part of a biker club, is facing several felony charges.
On Tuesday, April 14, West Virginia State Police arrested Chad McLean 50, of Belington, a member of the War Dogs Motorcycle Club, for the felony of Soliciting a Minor and Displaying Obscene Matter to a Minor; the victim being a 14-year-old girl.
The girl told troopers that McLean had grabbed her genitals and asked her for various sexual acts through Facebook messages.

The Army on Friday announced several new actions meant to combat sexual harassment and violence at Fort Hood, Texas, and across the service.
