BUELLTON MAN NOW FACING 30+ CHILD SEX CRIME CHARGES. Additional charges were filed in November

More charges have been filed against a Buellton man accused of sex crimes involving minors.
The amended complaint filed against Gregory Scott Ray last month now includes 31 counts against the 53-year-old.
Prior criminal complaints included allegations of sex crimes involving a 15-year-old boy between November 1 and 30, 2016 and again during the same time in 2018.
The latest complaint alleges crimes, including dissuading a witness, were committed outside of Santa Barbara County and as early as 2011.
Ray was arrested back in April of this year on suspicion of sex crimes committed against three juvenile males in the Santa Ynez Valley.
The following week the sheriff's office said it had identified more alleged victims linked to Ray, including some who lived locally and others who were out of the area, prompting additional charges.
Investigators say Ray traveled to many other counties in California when he was employed as an independent contractor and sales consultant for Friesens LLC, which is a yearbook publishing company.
Ray reportedly helped with yearbook consulting at many school campuses from San Jose to Los Angeles County and he may have also attended yearbook camps and conferences.
He has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court in January.
Bail is set at $500,000
