Former NFL player Kellen Winslow II pleaded guilty in court Monday to two sex crime charges. The former first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2004 faces 12 to 18 years in prison, rather than life.
The decision happened minutes before the 36-year-old was to face trial again. USA TODAY reported Winslow admitted to two counts involving two victims: the 2003 rape of an unconscious teen, and the 2018 sexual battery of a 54-year-old hitchhiker in Encinitas.
