KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) –A former Roane county criminal attorney faces 25 years in prison after being convicted of multiple sex crimes involving minors by a federal jury.
64-year-old Kent Lowery Booher of Harriman, who is a registered sex offender, was found guilty of enticing and attempting the enticement of a minor for sex, committing a sex crime with a minor while being a registered sex offender, sex trafficking of a child, and attempted production of child pornography.
Due to these convictions, Booher faces 25 years to life in prison,

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police say the promoter of a laser tag league was arrested following a grand jury indictment charging him with displaying sex acts of a minor and inducing a minor into sexual activity via video chat.
According to a release from Metro police, 42-year-old Christopher W. Johnson, of Madison, is currently in jail on a $75,000 bond.
Investigators say Johnson and the male juvenile victim started talking over Facebook in 2015 when the victim was 11-years-old. They discussed the victim joining the laser tag league

Roy Logston, a 68 year old man from Chattanooga, Tennessee, pleaded guilty today in federal district court to traveling across state lines with intent to have sex with a 10 year old child.  He was arrested when he traveled from Tennessee to Georgia with the intention of having illegal sexual contact with the girl, who was really an undercover agent of the FBI.  Logston was indicted in March 2006 on one count of using a computer connected to the internet to persuade, induce and entice a child to engage in

Patrick Neal Champion, 35, and his girlfriend, Debra Kay Williams, 46, are charged with the rape of a 13 year old girl they met on the Internet.  They are charged with one count of rape, and other charges may be pending.  Police searched the couple’s residence and seized a computer, several cameras and notebooks containing names and what appear to be the sexual preferences of those listed.  The girl said that they both took pictures of her.  They are being held at the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bail each.
