Craig Maurizi, a onetime Olympic hopeful turned Olympic coach, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against famed figure skating coach Richard Callaghan and a trio of skating institutions, including U.S. Figure Skating, the sport’s national governing body.

ABILENE, Texas — An Abilene grandfather was arrested for a child sex crime.

Richard Esquivel, 66, is charged with indecency with a child.

According to the pre-indictment warrant, a 9-year-old boy accused Esquivel of sticking his hand down the boy’s basketball shorts.

Esquivel told police he reached over the boy to grab the TV remote. He thinks the boy thought he was trying to something inappropriate.

He denied touching the victim.

Harvey Weinstein was found guilty by a jury in New York of sex crimes including rape but was acquitted of the most serious charges against him, in a verdict that activists declared a victory for women’s rights.
