(CNN) – George Tyndall, a former university gynecologist who’s facing 29 counts of sex crimes, has surrendered his medical license, the Medical Board of California said.
Tyndall was a gynecologist at the University of Southern California for almost 30 years, until he was fired in 2017. He’s accused of inappropriately touching 16 patients during his work at USC’s campus health clinic.
The medical board said Tyndall’s license was surrendered effective last Thursday. The license had already been suspended due to the allegations against him.

An “evil” Oregon babysitter who sexually abused and tortured three sisters under his care has been sentenced to 270 years in prison after more than a decade of delays, federal prosecutors said.
Andrew Franklin Kowalczyk, 44, was sentenced Monday after the former Portland man was convicted on nine counts of producing child pornography in December by a jury that deliberated for just 20 minutes following his four-day trial, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon announced Monday.

A former Disney Channel star is taking action after he says he suffered years of abuse.
Ricky Garcia, of Disney’s “Best Friends Whenever,” has filed a complaint against talent manager Joby Harte of Hot Rock Media, alleging Harte raped him throughout his adolescence.
In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles and obtained by USA TODAY, Garcia’s attorneys allege years of sexual abuse by Harte, beginning when Garcia was 12. The lawsuit names Harte, four entertainment companies and four other individuals.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Chair of the Citizens Review Board Henry Thomas Black Jr. was arrested in Myrtle Beach on sexual assault charges involving children, police said Thursday morning.

Black is accused of sexually assaulting two victims. The sexual assaults began when the victims were children and continued over a 22-year span, police say, between 1996 and 2018.

One of the victims, who is now an adult, reported Black to police on September 3. The second victim was identified and said she was also assaulted by Black.

BOYNTON BEACH — An open investigation into potentially illegal happenings at massage parlors in Boynton Beach has led to the arrests of three women, police records show.
Two of the women, Yanmei Shi, 45, and Junying Wang, 46, were arrested last month on charges of offering to commit prostitution. Undercover officers say the women, who own separate spas in neighboring shopping plazas along East Ocean Avenue, offered to perform sex acts on them in exchange for money.

Border Patrol agents continue capturing convicted criminals who have previously been kicked out of the country. On Monday authorities apprehended a Mexican man with a record in Nevada who had been removed last year.
“Agents conducted records checks, which revealed that the man, later identified as Mauricio Moreno-Garcia, a 26-year-old Mexican national, was convicted of Sexual Lewdness w/Child less than 14 years of age in 2016 out of the state of Nevada.
