SOUTH BEND — A LaPorte man was sentenced to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession and production of child pornography, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

Eric Weiler — who was arrested on April 17, 2018 — admitted to drugging a child and performing sexual acts on them while they were unconscious in or about the spring of 2013, court records state. The 46-year-old then “relived the abuse by writing about it many times in drawings and notes that later were recovered from his house.”

A man raped a woman he met through Match.com after she refused to sleep with him because he was fatter than his profile picture suggested, a court heard.

Christopher Schubert, 44, described himself on the dating website as a “big cuddly bear” who was “looking for his mate”.

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) — A former Madera Police dispatcher has been sentenced to less than a year in jail for sex crimes with a minor.

45-year old Martin Ramos will spend 270 days in jail and pleading no contest to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl.

Ramos was facing three years in prison but the judge took into consideration his lack of a criminal history and his cooperation with investigators.

When he comes out of jail, Ramos will have to register as a sex offender and spend four years on

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh man is facing more than a dozen new child sex crime charges involving teens ranging in age from 13-15 years old, according to Wake County arrest warrants.
Bobby Junior Waller Plott, 28, who has been held in the Wake County Detention Center since April on other child sex crime charges, is now facing 13 new charges, warrants show.
