MELROSE, Mass. —A registered sex offender who was accused of stalking a woman at a Melrose apartment complex has been arrested, according to police.

Melrose police said 33-year-old Tyler Jacquard, of Melrose, has been charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was also held on a parole violation relating to those charges.

Jacquard is a registered level-three sex offender and was convicted in 2014 and 2015 for open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior.

NEW ORLEANS —The U.S. Marshals Service Task Force New Orleans, in partnership with other area law enforcement departments, has just completed Operation NOLA Saints and Sinners 2019, a sex offender fugitive enforcement and sex offender compliance action in Orleans, Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes.

More than 100 people, including a medical doctor and a church youth director, were arrested as part of a massive human trafficking and child sex sting operation based in central Ohio, according to a report.

Those arrested included 24 men caught when they showed up at an undisclosed location with the intention of meeting a child for sex, Maj. Steven Tucker of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.

A Missouri man was reportedly sentenced to two life prison terms for the rape and murder of his 18-year-old daughter at a Kansas City motel in 2016.

Jerry Bausby was sentenced to life for second-degree murder and sodomy and was given an additional seven years for sexual abuse and four years for incest, according to Kansas City’s FOX 4.

His daughter, Daizsa Bausby, was found sodomized and suffocated at the Four Acres Motel on March 21, 2016.

A Maryland pastor was arrested Saturday after allegedly attempting to rape a young girl in January while she was a member of his congregation, according to police.

Octavio Cantarero, 42, of Gaithersburg, Md., allegedly told the minor that demons inside her had provoked him to commit the offense.

Cantarero has been charged with attempted second-degree rape and other sexual offenses against a minor relating to the alleged incident at Pentecostal Principe De Paz Church where he is a pastor, Montgomery County Police said in a statement.

Police say Cantarero told the underage female victim,
