A Wichita man was sentenced Wednesday to three life sentences plus 53 months after being found guilty of 25 felony sex crimes with six children.
The lawyer for Damian Isaac Hallacy, 41, asked for a less-severe sentence, citing Hallacy’s previous involvement singing in church, having steady employment and no prior felonies as an adult.

NEW ULM — A New Ulm man accused of sex crimes involving children was sentenced to 21 months in prison.
Colten Chase Camacho, 24, pleaded guilty to five felony counts of engaging in prostitution with a juvenile in February and was sentenced Monday in Brown County District Court.
Charges filed in 2017 accused Camacho of forcing three girls, ages 15 to 16 to perform sex acts on him, and of paying a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl to have sex with him.

A Joliet man was sentenced to 118 years in prison Monday for sexually assaulting a teenage girl at their shared southwest suburban home in 2015.

A Bridger man was sentenced to 120 years in prison on Wednesday after being convicted of sex crimes against two victims.
Gene Deveraux, 55, was sentenced to a net term of 120 years in Carbon County District Court on Wednesday, with a mandatory 25-year-parole restriction because one victim was younger than 13-years-old.
