A University of Florida residence hall assistant accused of trying to sexually assault a female student was released on his own recognizance last week after a judge agreed with the man’s attorney that the 21-year-old’s record as a “high-achieving student” and the approach of Hurricane Dorian were factors in his favor.
Ian Milaski was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with simple battery and false imprisonment after a woman claimed Milaski tried to assault her in his dorm room at the school’s Gainesville campus four days prior.

PAWNEE COUNTY, Oklahoma – A child sex crime sting has led to multiple arrests in Pawnee County.
The Pawnee County Sheriff told News On 6 the investigation started when a middle school student turned in an older classmate for making a lewd proposal. That case led investigators to a social media app and to 11 men, who the sheriff says were targeting underage boys for sex.

As the Ohio House prepares to resume hearings on a bill to allow victims of deceased Ohio State University doctor Richard Strauss to sue the university, its fate remains unclear.
However, minority Democrats and the Republican governor are asking whether it’s time to end a separate statute of limitations on filing criminal charges in sexual assault cases.

A former Princeton City School wrestling coach and security monitor has been accused of sex crimes involved male children all under the age of 14, prosecutors say.

Lamont Baldwin, 54, has been indicted on 12 counts of felony gross sexual imposition. If convicted, he faces up to 50 years in prison.
