An Ohio 17-year-old is suing his former Catholic school after an older student allegedly pinned him down and simulated sodomizing him on multiple occasions for more than a year, often as other classmates took video and laughed.
The lawsuit against St. Edward High School in Lakewood also names head track and cross-country coach Nathan Brannen, school board president James Kubacki and principal KC McKenna, in connection with sex assaults, bullying and other harassment the victim allegedly received at the hands of fellow runners.

A judge on Wednesday ordered former Penn State University President Graham Spanier to start serving a two-month jail sentence in July in connection with the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.
Spanier’s 2017 misdemeanor conviction for one count of endangering the welfare of children had been overturned amid his legal team’s appeals before Judge John Boccabella upheld it this week.

Lafayette Police repeatedly failed to notify UL administrators of student sex crime allegations over three years ending in 2018, disregarding an agreement with the university that arose from state law.
That is according to a bombshell USA Today report on Wednesday detailing how a student, Daniel Silva, bounced between three Louisiana public universities, leaving a trail of sex crime allegations at every stop.

DUXBURY, MASS. (AP) — The parents of a Massachusetts man who died of a drug overdose last year have sued their son’s middle school gym teacher who they allege repeatedly raped him, and the school district for failing to protect the boy.
Joseph and Melissa Foley are seeking $1 million in a lawsuit filed in Plymouth Superior Court this week against the Duxbury Public Schools and teacher John Blake.
Their son, Joseph Parker Foley, died last October at age 27, their attorney, Jason Morgan, told The Patriot Ledger.

A Concord High School teacher has been arrested and charged with several sex crimes involving a minor, Concord police announced Thursday.

Manchester resident Joshua Harwood, 36, was arrested Thursday and charged with:

Two Class A felony charges of manufacturing child sexual abuse images.

One Class B felony charge of prostitution involving a minor.

A felony charge of possession of child sexual abuse images.

Misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and solicitation to commit sexual contact. The solicitations charges involve an adult, Concord police said.

But now Holland is under the microscope.
The Holland Central School District is facing seven lawsuits under the New York Child Victims Act. Filed in early summer, the lawsuits involve alleged sexual abuse during the late 1970s and early 1980s — all tied to former middle school math teacher Carl Penziul.
“There were so many red flags here,” said attorney Jeff Herman, who filed the lawsuits. “So many times that we believe it was known.
