MADISON (WKOW) — A UW-Madison graduate student arrested for three, alleged sex crimes and cited for a disturbing campus incident tells 27 News the accusations are flawed.
“I never touched anyone,” Mehrdad Zareh Bannad Kouki tells 27 News.
Madison Police say Kouki inappropriately touched a woman May 2 as she walked near University Avenue and Mills Street just before 2 a.m.
Police say publicity about that alleged crime led other women to come forward and allege similar experiences.

DUXBURY, MASS. (AP) — The parents of a Massachusetts man who died of a drug overdose last year have sued their son’s middle school gym teacher who they allege repeatedly raped him, and the school district for failing to protect the boy.
Joseph and Melissa Foley are seeking $1 million in a lawsuit filed in Plymouth Superior Court this week against the Duxbury Public Schools and teacher John Blake.
Their son, Joseph Parker Foley, died last October at age 27, their attorney, Jason Morgan, told The Patriot Ledger.

State Police have arrested an elementary school principal for allegedly molesting multiple boys on school grounds, during school hours, over a four-year span.

Bail was set at $1.5 million today for a former teaching assistant charged with sexually abusing a Fortuna middle school student in 2017 and 2018.

Judge Christopher Wilson advised Matthew Oliver Gibson, 29, that he has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child under 14, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and having substantial sexual conduct with a child. Gibson, who was arrested Jan. 29 at his McKinleyville residence, appeared via videocamera from Humboldt County Correctional Facility.

A former Massachusetts professor accused of raping a student in his office after meeting her on a “sugar daddy” website has been indicted, prosecutors said.
