CHARLOTTE, N.C. – U.S. District Judge Robert J. Conrad Jr. sentenced today Brian Parks Moore, 51, of Matthews, N.C. to 188 months in prison for transportation of child pornography, announced Andrew Murray, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina. Judge Conrad also ordered Moore to serve 30 years of supervised release and to register as a sex offender.

MANITOWOC – Eric Fisher, a former cheer coach in Manitowoc, has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in state prison after attempting to have sex with a 15-year-old.
Fisher, 30, was convicted of five felony charges including using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, two charges of soliciting intimate representation from a minor and two charges of exposing a child to harmful material.
Fisher was arrested on Feb. 27, 2019, during a sting operation.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – An Upstate man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex crimes.
According to a solicitor’s office news release, Andrew J. Dixon, 32, of Spartanburg, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor on Thursday. A judge issued a consecutive 15-year prison sentence on each charge.
The solicitor’s office said a relative of an 8-year-old victim reported the crimes to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 17, 2018.
