An Ada County District judge ordered a 52-year-old Boise man to serve up to 85 years in prison after he was convicted of making and distributing child pornography.
Police arrested Gunnar Ericsson on a warrant in September 2018 following a year-long investigation by the Boise Police Department. He could be eligible for parole after 15 years are served.

A 42-year-old Berkeley man has been charged with trying to take a toddler from her parents in January with the intent of committing a sex crime, according to court papers.
The incident took place at the Berkeley Marina on Jan. 17 at about 10:50 a.m., according to court documents. ASHEBORO — Asheboro Police have called for the NC State Bureau of Investigation to take over a local investigation into a bizarre case linked to an Asheboro resident.

PHOENIX – Police say 27 people were arrested in connection to an undercover operation targeting child sex crimes and human trafficking in the Valley.
Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, and the Chandler Police Departments partnered with Homeland Security and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office for “Operation Silent Predator,” where undercover police officers arranged sex acts with people whom the suspects believed to be 14-years-old or younger.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Sunday who is suspected of committing sex crimes against an underage girl.
During a Linn County Circuit Court appearance on Monday, Donald Burl Totton, 42, was charged with first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and first-degree sex-abuse.
