A suspected pedophile was detained in the southern Turkish province of Antalya on July 8 during a nearby protest against sexual abuse of children.
The man, identified by Demirören News Agency as Rahim K., allegedly harassed a 12-year-old girl on a beach in Konyaaltı district, starting by asking her sexually suggestive questions.
After the man attempted to take her out of the sea, the girl cried for help, yelling “There is a sexual abuser here,” which alarmed her family.

Carlos Ramirez, a 37 year old Riverhead man, was charged with two counts of third-degree aggravated sexual abuse, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child in the sexual abuse of a 9 year old girl at a Hamptons Bay beach while the girl was swimming.  The incident occurred at the W. The lawyer for the Rev. Carlos Ossa, a 37-year-old Jackson Heights man, was arrested at Jones Beach State Park on Saturday afternoon after he smacked a 10 year old boy in the buttocks as the boy walked with his family near the central mall.  As the boy walked ahead of his family he was smacked so hard by Ossa that he was lifted off the ground.  The attack appeared to be unprovoked and the man does not know the family or the boy.  He pleaded not guilty to the third degree sexual abuse charge and
