A Middletown man already convicted in Warren County of having sexual contact with assisted living patients has pleaded guilty to more charges in Butler County.

Godbless Uwadiegwu, 59, of Bonita Drive, who was a nurse aide, was indicted in November by a Butler County grand jury for rape and sexual battery, for crimes allegedly committed between Sept. 1 and Sept. 5, 2018, and two counts of gross sexual imposition and unlawful restraint for crimes allegedly committed on Dec. 26, 2013, according to court records.

Survivors of alleged sexual and physical abuse at a children’s mental health unit have vowed to continue their fight for justice after a three-year police investigation ended without charges.
Police said they found evidence that children had been over-sedated by staff at the Hill End Hospital Adolescent Unit in St Albans, between the 1960s and its closure in 1995.
Hertfordshire Constabulary investigated allegations of beatings, mistreatment and sexual abuse, including rape, but said there was “insufficient evidence to support any arrest or prosecution” against former staff.

A Sacramento man working as a nurse at a rehab facility was arrested last week by Folsom police for alleged sex crimes involving a patient in January, authorities say.
Gregory Harms, 61, was arrested Friday and is “accused of sexual conduct with a patient,” the Folsom Police Department said in a news release. One of the charges faced by Harms alleges that the victim was under anesthesia or otherwise intoxicated.

A nurse in Northern Ireland who knew he was facing charges of sexual offences against a teenager continued working in frontline healthcare right up until the week after he was sentenced and placed on the Sex Offenders Register, it has emerged.
The offender, who has since been struck off the nursing register, and the health trust for which he worked are not being identified at this time.

After more than eight years of delays, Paul Santiago, a convicted sex offender who worked asa nurse, is going to prison for sexually assaulting a 10 year old patient.  He was sentencedto the maximum penalty, a minimum of 16 years in prison.  Santiago has another criminal andanother civil case pending against him.  Earlier this year, he was charged with sexuallyassaulting two women at a local medical clinic.

Wayne Albert Bleyle, a 55 year old former respiratory therapist, pleaded guilty Tuesday tomolesting young, brain-damaged patients at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego where he workedfor 25 years.
