NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Metro police officer and two teachers have been indicted in an investigation regarding the sexual abuse of a teenager.

Metro police say officer Corey Reed, 31, a five-year MNPD veteran, surrendered at the Downtown Detention Center Wednesday afternoon on one count of sexual battery by an authority figure. He allegedly inappropriately touched the then 13-year-old boy, who spent the night at Reed’s home in December 2017.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY)– Former Newport News Police officer Robert Jones and resident Kristi Cline will be in court tomorrow as their jury trial begins for alleged sex crimes against a child.

Court documents say the alleged crimes happened more than 10 years ago inside Cline’s home where she ran a daycare. Documents show Cline was the girl’s babysitter and had a relationship with Jones.

The victim reported the allegations to Williamsburg Police in June of 2018 when she was 22 years old.

HOMER, La. — A former state trooper pleaded guilty this week in Claiborne Parish District Court to sexually assaulting a female relative over a six-year period.

As a result, Mark Eric Keough faces up to 99 years in prison when he is sentenced on May 3.

Keough pleaded guilty on the day he was scheduled for trial, District Attorney Danny Newell’s office said Thursday in a news release.
