AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An Amarillo father and son face federal charges over child pornography.  According to court documents, Charles Lee Kruse, 42, and Richard Lee Kruse, 63, were indicted on Thursday, Nov. 29. The older Kruse is accused of producing child pornography, whereas Charles is accused of possessing and distributing.  The investigation into the Kruse’s began in Sept. 2016 when a boy, identified as John Doe, accused Richard of sexually assaulting him.

BLOOMFIELD, MO (KFVS) – An Essex, Missouri man has been sentenced to life in prison on a child molestation charge.

Chad M. Anderson pleaded guilty on November 7 to the charges of felony first degree child molestation.

He was sentenced the same day to life without parole in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Anderson was sentenced by Judge Robert Mayer in Bloomfield, Missouri.

The Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case.

ANSON, Texas (AP) A convicted sex offender found guilty of killing a female corrections officer in Texas was sentenced to death Tuesday.  A Jones County jury ordered the death penalty for 24-year-old Dillion Compton.

Compton was convicted of capital murder Oct. 15 in the July 2016 slaying of guard Mari Johnson, whose beaten body was found in a storage unit at the Robertson prison in Abilene.

The killing occurred while Compton was incarcerated for aggravated sexual assault of a child

WICHITA, Kan. — A Kansas man has been sentenced to life in prison for raping a 7-year-old girl in a stranger’s apartment six weeks after he was freed from prison for another rape.

The Wichita Eagle reports that 24-year-old Corbin Breitenbach won’t be eligible for parole under the sentence ordered Tuesday for attempted capital murder, rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated burglary.
