CHILD-MOLEST DAD IS JAILED

Burchell Black, a 37 year old Brooklyn dad, was charged on May 21, 2004, with molesting a 13 year old girl in the middle school where he volunteers. He abused the girl twice in February at Intermediate School 285 on Beverley Road, and she reported it to authorities on May 7. On the first occasion, Black approached the student in an administrator's office and fondled her then confronted the girl a second time in a stairwell and sexually abused her. He is charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Black will have a year in jail to keep his hands to himself after a judge sentenced him on November 15, 2005, for molesting his own son's girlfriend.  He already pleaded guilty last year to fondling the 13 year old.  But he was rearrested this summer and pleaded guilty to getting seriously fresh with his son's 17 year old girlfriend on three separate occasions.
