Ralph DeMayo, a 28 year old convicted sex offender from Glen Cove, was arrested and chargedWednesday with possessing child pornography, the same crimes that landed him in jail in 2008. DeMayo, of 219 Lawrence Lane, is charged with three counts of promoting a sexual performance by achild in that occurred on August 31.  He is a Level 1 sex offender, which is designated in NewYork State for those considered a low risk for repeating the offense.  DeMayo was arrested andcharged with the same two crimes in 2008 and pleaded guilty to one felony count of possessing asexual performance by a child in 2009.  He was sentenced to 90 days in prison and assessed a$2,500 fine.
