DIOCESE REINSTATES ACCUSED PRIEST

Father William Logan, 65, has been accused of molesting a Long Island woman when she was 13 and she has filed a $6 million lawsuit that includes an unusual claim of assault and battery by a diocese psychologist - who tried to re-enact the alleged abuse with her.  Janique McKenny Palomini, 39, has claimed in her civil suit that the re-enactment caused her to experience flashbacks and nightmares, as well as psychological harm.

As of September 16, 2006, the Diocese of Rockville Centre has reinstated Logan saying a review board could not substantiate the allegations.
