JUVENILE PORNOGRAPHY BEING TRADED BY KIDS

Police arrested a 14-year-old Tenafly teenager last week on charges that he distributed pornography on the Internet.  Juveniles trading obscene pictures through cyberspace are a growing problem.  Authorities said that the boy is the first juvenile in Bergen County accused of moving child pornography on the Internet.  He emailed pornographic material to an undercover detective and was arrested Wednesday.  The detective is working with the Northeast Regional Child Exploitation Task Force.  The task force consists of detectives from Bergen, Middlesex, and Somerset Counties and FBI agents.  They began looking for child predators on the Internet last month.  They look for predators who use online chat rooms to meet children and lure them into sexual situations.
