NASSAU MAN CHARGED WITH ABUSING BOY

Kenneth Holleman, 44, was found about 4:45 a.m. on Sunday inside a car with a 15 year old boy.  Both were fully clothed and denied impropriety.  With an absence of evidence, police returned the boy to his parents who did not know he had left their Lindenhurst home.  Holleman was allowed to go.  Two day later detectives confronted  him about the incident a second time.  This time at his home at 131 Primrose Avenue in Massapequa Park and arrested him on charges of third degree sodomy and endangering the welfare of a child.  Police learned that Holleman is a registered Level Two sex offender, which means his name and address were given to vulnerable entities, such as schools.  Holleman pleaded guilty in 1999 to having pornographic material of a child.  He was arrested again in July in Nassau County of the same charge and that case is pending.  The July arrest was a violation of a 5 year probation sentence set after the conviction for the 1999 offense.  He was arraigned yesterday and is being held on $1 million bail at the Suffolk County jail.
