NORTH CAROLINA MAN SENTENCED TO ELEVEN YEARS FOR TRAVELING TO HAVE SEX WITH A TEN YEAR OLD CHILD IN ATLANTA

John Gregory Jaroszynski, a 44 year old man from Indian Trail, North Carolina, was sentencedtoday by US District Judge Charles A. Pannell, Jr., on charges of using the internet to attempt toentice a child to engage in sexual activity. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison to be followedby 20 years of supervised release. Jaroszynski was convicted of these charges upon the entry of hisguilty plea on October 5, 2006. There was no actual child, he was talking with an undercoverdetective.
