NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WOIO) - A youth pastor and his wife have been indicted on charges for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a young girl.

David and Anna Walker of North Ridgeville now face several counts of sexual battery.

North Olmsted Police say the couple turned themselves in to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, after a joint investigation with North Ridgeville Police.

19 News obtained a copy of the indictment, which says the alleged sexual assault happened in December 2004 with a then 14-year-old girl and lasted until December 2006.

North Olmsted Police say the incidents happened while David Walker was the youth pastor at Church Alive International in Cleveland, and again while he worked in the same role at The Dwelling Place Family Worship Center in North Olmsted.

The young girl was a member at both churches.

According to the indictment, David and the young girl had sex several times, including at Church Alive. It also says the couple and young girl performed oral sex on each other at a North Ridgeville home and an apartment in North Olmsted.

Police say the couple lives in North Ridgeville.

David Walker was charged with seven counts of sexual battery, a third-degree felony, and one count of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor. Anna Walker is charged with two counts of sexual battery.

The couple faces one to five years in prison if convicted and or a $10,000 fine.
