PLEA DEAL FOR PERV REV

Donald Jean, a 37 year old Brooklyn pastor, has been charged with sexually abusing a 13 year old boy who regularly stayed over his house, telling him that God would cripple him for life if he told authorities. Jean surrendered to authorities in April 2005 and was arrested and charged with sexual abuse, criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child. Jean has allegedly attacked the teen six times. Jean allegedly shook the boy from his sleep and raped him, ignoring the teen's pained cries for help. Police are investigating whether more boys from Jean's parish may have been molested.

Jean was sentenced on April 18, 2007 to just probation in a plea deal.  Prosecutors said they agreed to a deal of 10 years' probation in exchange for the plea because the child did not want to testify.
