LAWRENCE TEACHER FACES SEX ABUSE CHARGES
Philip Fasso, a 34 year old Lawrence High School teacher, was arrested yesterday afternoon on charges that he fondled a 16 year old girl just after he finished tutoring her after school. Fasso, of 996 White Birch Lane in Wantagh, was charged with fondling the girl beneath her clothes as she stood to leave the tutoring session on March 29. A school security guard saw the incident and observed the victim struggling to get away and brought her and Fasso to school administrators. Fasso is charged with third degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
