Kenneth Hinson, a 47 year old convicted sex offender out of jail and accused of raping children, abducted two 17 year old girls, raped them and left them for dead in a dungeon in his backyard.  The dungeon had no ventilation and there was a weighted bench on top of the trapdoor.  The teens managed to kick off the door and run for help.  Hinson was charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, burglary and assault and battery with intent to kill.  Hinson was convicted in 1991 of raping a 12 year old girl and sentenced to 18 years in prison, but served only 9 years.
