PSYCHOLOGIST GUILTY IN CHILD-PORN CASE
Peter Mies, a 57 year old child psychologist at a Long Island preschool, admitted yesterday that he paid for kiddie porn and stored it on his home and office computers. Mies, of Northport, was arrested and pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a felony, as part of a prearranged deal with prosecutors. He will receive 10 years' probation and will have to surrender his license to practice psychology.
