PERV PRIEST GETS 10 YEARS

The Rev. Daniel Clark, a Roman Catholic priest, was found guilty of molesting two young brothers from a family he had befriended.  He was convicted on two counts of sexual abuse.  The boys, now 12 and 13, testified that they were abused by Clark in their home and on outings with the priest.  The jury recommended the maximum of five years in prison on each count, to be served consecutively.  Clark was sentenced to 10 years in prison yesterday for abusing the two boys.  He was convicted in June of two counts of sexual abuse and was acquitted on one sodomy charge.  He was sentenced to five years on each charge.  He had pleaded guilty in a similar case 15 years earlier, but was allowed to remain a priest. In 1988, Clark pleaded guilty to sodomy and sexual abuse for molesting two boys at a church in Louisville.  He served 90 days in jail.
